Wanting to further expand their design of the fiberglass chairs. The Eames set out to create a lightweight, less expensive wire frame chair. Now 50 years later, they're a more difficult to find.
This particular chair is in good vintage condition. No weld break or cracks. The paint/powder coat is almost fully intact. There are a couple of spots here and there with wear. However is extremely minimal and almost out of site. The wire seat frame is on top of a new black powder coated rocking base with birch runners from Modern Conscience. This rare piece of history is looking for a new home!
