The Thonet Company was probably the first company to mass produce furniture. In the late 1800's they introduced the bentwood cafe chair. These chairs are still produced to this day.
These authentic Thonet plywood chairs (set of 2) have amazing character. Extremely sturdy and comfortable, despite their age. Some of the finishing is coming off and there is some light scratching. Overall, the chairs are in good vintage condition. Perfect for a cozy mid century kitchen or office. Listing is for two chairs. Four chairs available.
